:: SA Project House Wins African Zinc Project ASX-listed miner Aim resources has awarded the engineering, procurement, construction and management contract for its Burkino Faso Perkoa zinc project's processing plant to South Africa-based DRA Mineral Projects. The plant was scheduled for first delivery by the first quarter of 2008, and was expected to add some 907 679 t of contained zinc metal to Aim's zinc reserves, it said in a report. The company planned to extract 0,5-million of ore a year from the mine, which would feed the processing plant, which would be capable of producing 116 000 t a year of relatively clean concentrate, over a 14-year life of mine.
