:: Knelson and ConSep Create Another BIG Reaction

The saying goes that lightening never strikes twice in the same place but that certainly doesn't hold true in the case of the rapidly emerging Russian gold mining industry. For the second time in the past 24 months, Knelson Gravity Solutions has manufactured and exported another massive CS8000 Acacia Reactor this time for the Karalveyem gold project located in the Magadan region of Northern Siberia. The CS8000 unit will be installed to process highly enriched gravity concentrates produced from both semi-continuous (batch) and continuous (CVD) type Knelson Concentrators.

"Processing the combined concentrates from both batch and continuous Knelson units is a unique and exciting opportunity and a first for both Knelson and ConSep" stated Mike McLeavy Manager of Technology at Knelson. "There's no question that that it's going to be a challenging application for both technologies but one of the key advantages we offer is that we have integrated both systems and offer a seamless solution to our clients" McLeavy added.

Once operational, this unit will represent the second ConSep ACACIA Reactor operating in Russia with the manufacturing of a third system currently in progress. In total, these most recent orders bring the total number of Acacia systems to 44 and counting.
