:: Indian Fe Plant Orders KHD Jig

KHD is building a 300 tonne/hour BATAC jig for the TISCO Steel Noamundi Iron Ore Dressing Plant. The BATAC pneumatic jig system will be located next to the existing beneficiation plant, which is some 90 km south west of Jamshedpur in India's Jharkhand State.

KHD Humboldt Wedag in Germany carried out test work with samples from the Noamundi mine prior to the order being received and these successful trials resulted in the deal being struck. South African subsidiary Humboldt Wedag is also involved in the order and is manufacturing much of the equipment.
