:: First Gold Pour For Uzbek Operation

British-based gold firm Oxus Gold confirmed at the weekend that its Amantaytau operation in Uzbekistan had successfully poured gold, following the start of gold production earlier this month.

Oxus CEO Bill Trew said, "I am delighted to confirm the successful gold pour at Amantaytau. We now look forward to the full commissioning of the plant and achieving our objective of producing at least 200 000 oz of gold this year".
