:: Outokumpu's Technology for Eurozinc's Processing Plant in Portugal

British-based gold firm Oxus Gold confirmed at the weekend that its Amantaytau operation in Uzbekistan had successfully poured gold, following the start of gold production earlier this month.

Outokumpu Technology, part of the global metals and technology group Outokumpu, and EuroZinc, Canada, have agreed on technical cooperation in further developing EuroZinc's copper and zinc/lead mines in Portugal.

The Technical Services Agreement signed by the parties covers the supply of expert services, process equipment and process technology for the next nine years by Outokumpu to EuroZinc's processing plants in Portugal.
