:: MIM to Close Northfleet Refinery

MIM Holdings Ltd's subsidiary, Britannia Refined Metals Ltd, has put a proposal to its employees and their trade unions for the closure of one of its three refineries at Northfleet, UK. MIM's managing director, Vince Gauci, says that the proposal follows the recent closure of its Avonmouth lead-zinc smelter in the UK, which supplied the Northfleet No.2 refinery with crude lead.
