:: Falcon Concentrator Recovers 70% by Gravity at Bullion River

A Model SB750 Falcon Concentrator has consistently achieved more than 70% gold recovery by gravity at Bullion River's French Gulch Mine near Redding, California, USA since being installed in Q3 2006. Froth flotation of the gravity tailings brings overall recovery to more than 90%.

Bullion River decided to take an aggressive approach to gravity recovery since the Company's policy is to embrace only technologies that are commercially proven yet environmentally sound. Site personnel challenged Falcon to design a circuit that would maximize recovery by gravity while fitting the existing infrastructure at a minimum cost.

The result of a consultative design effort was to treat 100% of mill discharge after being screened by a 2' x 8' Sizetec Step Deck type vibrating screen also supplied through Falcon.

Mill Superintendent Mark Brockey: 'We have been very pleased with the performance of the Falcon circuit and also with the responsive service we have received from Falcon. We are very demanding with all of our suppliers and Falcon addressed our needs with personal attention and fast deliveries. They have been easy to work with.'
