:: Forrestania Scoping Study Nears Completion
Western Areas' scoping study for an 8000t per annum nickel mining and processing operation in the Forrestania region of Western Australia is due for completion early next month.
The study is looking at developing five different deposits from three underground mines, with production beginning late in 2004.
The five deposits take in New Morning/Daybreak (with New Morning containing 207,500t at 5.14% nickel), Digger Rocks (54,900t at 3.72%), Digger South (2.4Mt at 1.6%) and Cosmic Boy, where a resource estimate is in progress for three areas.
