:: Commissioning Complete For Agnico Eagle's Sepro Agglomeration Drum

Sepro Mineral Systems, in partnership with Excel Machinery Ltd, recently completed an installation and commissioning project for Agnico Eagle at their Creston Mascota Mine.

One 3.0m x 9.5m Tyre Drive Agglomeration Drum has been operational since late May 2014 at the site which is located in Pinos Altos, Northern Mexico. The Creston Mascota Mine is a gold and silver recovery heap leach facility which processed an average of 4,000 tonnes of ore per day before the Sepro Agglomeration Drum was installed.

"This equipment has allowed us to increase production from 4,000 TPD to 6,000 TPD, keeping high quality agglomerated product in the ore processed. The installation process was smooth and the Sepro Agglomeration Drum runs quietly on site." ccomments Jose Cordova Montaņo, General Manager at Agnico Eagle.

This machine was fully assembled and shop tested before shipment to site, and included a complete automation package consisting of a Rotary Control Console (RCC), Variable Frequency Drive Cabinet (VFDC) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
