:: CVRD Selects FFE Minerals Brazil For SAG Mill and Ball Mill Supply

FFE Minerals Brazil has been awarded a contract to supply a 26’ x 16’ - 6,500 HP SAG Mill and 21’x 32.5’ - 9,600 HP Ball Mill for CVRD’s Paragominas Bauxite Mine in north of Brazil. This SAG mill will be the first one supplied to CVRD.

CVRD is in the erection phase of their green field 4.5 MTPY bauxite project at Paragominas Mine and took a decision to go ahead with the expansion for 9.9 MTPY before the commissioning and startup of the first line.

FFE Minerals has not supplied the grinding mills for first phase of project but was able to get the second line based on FFE Minerals technical and commercial skills.
