This, the 3rd International Symposium on Processing & Disposal of Mineral Industry Wastes (PDMIW 07), was organised by Minerals Engineering International and sponsored by Industrial Minerals.

Themes of PDMIW 07 PDMIW 07 focused on all aspects of the processing and disposal of wastes in the minerals industry. Technical sessions included: Tailings Disposal Coal Wastes Effluent treatment Acid Mine Drainage Processing of Wastes Sustainability - recycling, clean technology etc.
