:: Silver Medal for Mintek Paper

Rodney Jones, a specialist consultant in the Pyrometallurgy Division at Mintek, has been awarded a silver medal by The South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM) for co-authoring a paper titled Recovery of cobalt from slag in a DC arc furnace at Chambishi, Zambia, which was published in the January/February 2002 issue of the journal.
