:: Senior Appointment at Mintek

Paul Brereton-Stiles has been appointed manager of Mintek’s Measurement and Control (MaC) division as from 1 September 2007.

Brereton-Stiles obtained a B.Sc Engineering (Electronics) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1997. He joined Mintek’s MaC Furnace Control group in 1998, and was appointed head of the group in 2000.

As an international expert in the control of submerged arc furnaces, he has travelled extensively to install and commission about fifty of Mintek’s Minstral furnace controllers on plants in numerous countries.
