:: Dr. Zhiyong Gao Becomes Youngest Vice-Dean at Central South University, China

Congratulations to Dr. Zhiyong Gao on his promotion to Vice-Dean of the School of Mineral Processing and Bioengineering at Central South University (CSU), China. He becomes the youngest Vice-Dean among the 30 schools at CSU. CSU has around 55,000 students and 20,000 staff and is in the top 20 of 2800 universities in China. There are 38 universities in China with mineral processing departments, and CSU, which specialises in non-ferrous metals, is ranked number 1, and is the largest, with 110 staff, 1000 undergraduate students and 500 post grads. It was recently ranked number 2 in the world in the ShanghaiRanking's Global Rankings for 2018.
