:: Metso Appoints Asia-Pacific President

Metso Minerals has announced the appointment of Mark Glendenning as president of the Asia-Pacific region. He replaces Dave Kowalski who has been acting in the position during the company's restructure, throughout 2004.

Mr Glendenning has been promoted from the position of VP, Sales for the Asia-Pacific region and was previously VP, Wear Protection and Conveying covering Metso's Skega and Trellex brands, acquired by the Finnish company as part of their Nordberg and Svedala merger.

Mr Kowalski will be returning to the USA to continue his role as Senior VP, Sales and Marketing of Metso Minerals' global Minerals Processing business line.
