:: Visiting Professor Appointment > Richard Lydon of Madison Filter Group has become a visiting professor at the University of Loughborough, UK. In this external role he will be assisting the university's Chemical Engineering Department with the future direction and focus of postgraduate research and funding, from an industrial perspective, in the area of advanced solid/liquid separation. Lydon is Technical Director at Madison Filter Group Ltd, which is part of Gamma Holding BV, and works across the group on the development of new and innovative filtration solutions for industrial applications. He is also chairman of The Filtration Society, an organisation that helps disseminate knowledge about the science of filtration, a member of both the Institute of Materials, Mining & Minerals and The American Filtration and Separation (AFS) Society. He also sits on the Filtration Committee of INDA, USA.
