:: CIM Fellowship Award to Rene del Villar

CIM President Howard Stockford presented Rene del Villar, of Laval University, with the coveted CIM Fellowship Award at the CMP annual meeting in Ottawa in January. This award was announced in May 2003, however Dr. del Villar asked to receive it at the CMP meeting.

Rene went on to accept the Best Presentation Award (2003) on behalf of award winner Carl Duchesne of COREM for his presentation on "Application of Multivariate Image Analysis To Predict Concentrate Grade In Froth Flotation Process".
