:: CME Appoints Minerals Institute Executive Officer

The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia has named Claire Thomas as Minerals Institute Executive Officer. Claire will be responsible for facilitating strategies to develop and enhance a network of selected tertiary education providers and research bodies to ensure world class education and research to the minerals industry. She will work closely with key stakeholders to develop sustainable strategies to attract and retain tertiary qualified professionals. She will also head the secretariat function for the Minerals Institute.

Claire was previously at Woodside Energy Ltd where she held the positions of Recruitment Coordinator and Team Leader Recruitment.
