:: New Research Director at AMIRA

Gray Bailey has joined AMIRA International as a Research Director. Gray is a mining engineer with a Master of Engineering Science from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. He has worked with the Zinc Corporation, New Broken Hill Consolidated, CRA, Golden Shamrock Mines and Ausmelt in operations, project management and business analysis. Gray has consulted to the industry on a range of projects and, more recently, has worked in the financial sector.

Gray will be based out of the Melbourne Office of AMIRA. However, it is anticipated that he will spend significant time in Western Australia as a key focus of his work will be the alumina industry. His appointment follows an extensive search.
