Whilst the metals industry continues to face severe financial pressures the need for research and development to improve process efficiencies continues.

This need is reflected in the continued growth in the funding and scope of research undertaken by the Pyrometallurgy Research Centre in 2002.

PYROSEARCH has attracted significant research funding from competitive research grants and from industry around the globe.
