:: Rotex Wins Multi-Mil Potash Separator Deal Rotex has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract for 19 new mineral separators by PotashCorp of Canada the world's largest integrated producer of potash, nitrogen and phosphate. PotashCorp placed the order with the Ohio, US-based company after spending more than a year of testing various machines from several different manufacturers. The separators will be installed late this year in PotashCorp's facilities in Rocanville, Saskatchewan equipping a new plant and replacing older Rotex separators in an existing plant. Some of the keys to winning the contract, said Rotex Area Sales Manager Scott Haley, is the Mineral Separator's ability to screen such high capacities per square foot of screen cloth, and its product recoveries at temperatures of up to 400º F. Rotex Mineral Separators are specifically designed to meet the demanding screening requirements of the potash industry; offering unsurpassed screening performance when sharp separations and high efficiencies are needed. © World Mining Equipment 2004
