Larox Corp has recently signed a co-operation agreement with Codelco Chile to continue the work of both parties to improve solid/liquid separation solutions for process steps in concentration, hydrometallurgy and smelting.

The agreement follows on from one signed by both companies back in 1997. According to Tiovo Matti Karppanen, president of Larox, Codelco Chile and Larox have found the co-operation beneficial. Future joint work will focus on the possibilities to improve the actual processes, increase the efficiency of solid/liquid separation, cut operational costs and improve final product quality.
