10th World Filtration Congress Close to 2200 Delegates and visitors to the 10th World Filtration Congress held in Leipzig, Germany had the opportunity to learn of the very latest developments in the field of filtration and separation technology. Some 350 papers given by world wide experts to an international audience of over two thousand reviewed the future tends and state of the art expectations of all kinds of mechanical particle separation processes, which play an indispensable role in solving problems in a wide range of industries. People from research and development, from academia and manufacturing and end users of separation equipment together enhanced the process of finding improved or new practical solutions for actual and future separation problems. At the accompanying exhibition 150 exhibitors were able to display their F and S equipment which included engineering companies, manufacturers of related measurement instruments, and test laboratories featured their latest innovations. The WFC Congress Chairman, Dr.- Ing. Harald Anlauf at the closing thanked all visitors and delegates for their attendance and for the way so many had expressed their support for what has been a very successful World Filtration Congress in Leipzig. He handed over the Chairmanship to Professor Wilhelm Höflinger of the Institute of Chemical Engineering. Vienna and announced that the 11th World Filtration Congress would take place in Graz Austria in April 2012.
