Outokumpu Travel Grants for Young Metallurgists

Applications are now invited for the Outokumpu Travel Grant for Young Metallurgists employed in the Australasian mineral industry.

This prestigious award, conducted annually under the auspices of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, recognises achievement and professional excellence.

Outokumpu offers a young metallurgist the opportunity of travel overseas to broaden their industry expertise and experience. Winners receive return air travel, a month's accommodation and agreed expenses within the continent selected. Entry is open to AusIMM Members who are qualified metallurgical or chemical engineers employed in the Minerals Industry for a minimum of three and maximum of ten years.

The Outokumpu Travel Grant aims to advance the Australasian Minerals Processing Industry, to which Outokumpu is a major supplier of advanced mineral processing equipment, systems and technology.
