:: Orvana Minerals Reports Spike in Gold Production After Commissioning of Three Falcon Concentrators

In August 2013 Empresa Minera Paititi S.A. purchased three SB750-SFC Falcon Concentrators with full automation for the Don Mario Project, a gold and copper open mine pit located in Bolivia.

Two of the Falcon Concentrators are installed in the grinding circuit treating cyclone underflow and the third is installed in the flotation circuit treating the final tailings. There are also two iCON i350 concentrators installed on site which operate alongside the Falcon equipment.

Orvana Minerals Corp, the gold and copper producer which owns the Don Mario Mine, recently reported that “higher gold grades and more throughput resulted in 45% higher gold production” after the “new gravity gold concentrators were commissioned towards the end of March 2014”.
