:: The South African Platinum Industry

With the vast majority of the world's reserves of platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium and iridium hosted within the Bushveld Igneous Complex, this important component of the South African mining industry has recently seen some of its best years ever in terms of production and revenues. The major operations in this industry are described in an article in Issue 4 (2004) of Mining Review Africa (pps. 10-18).
