Perth-based UltraSort Pty Ltd will establish a temporary test facility in South Africa to demonstrate the effectiveness of its Compact Diamond Sorter. UltraSort is inviting any interested party to bring ore samples for free testing and evaluation at the facility, which will be in the Booysens area of Johannesburg.

The Compact Sorter measures 1.26 m by 1.25 m and is 1.5 m high. UltraSort says that the unit is capable of treating wet material and material with a range of particle sizes. UltraSort says that the unit can achieve a 98% recovery rate with a single pass.
