This, the 2nd International Symposium on Hydrocyclones (Hydrocyclones 2006), was organised by Minerals Engineering International and was sponsored by Krebs Engineers.

The Hydrocyclone is one of the most widely used separating devices in industry. It would be difficult to find a mineral processing operation in the world which does not use this device, but it also has wide use in many other industries, such as the chemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper, and food industries.

Hydrocyclones 06 was a multi-disciplinary conference, where users of this ubiquitous device could come together to discuss different approaches to common problems.
